This page explains what personal data KmerMarket collects, why, how long it is kept and how you can control it. KmerMarket does not sell your data, shows no advertising and uses no tracking or analytics tools.
Who is responsible
The data controller is KmerMarket (see the legal notice). For any question about your data: support@kmermarketshopping.com.
What we collect

We only ask for what the service needs. Your phone number is required because buyers on KmerMarket mostly contact sellers by phone.
Who can see your data
- Other visitors see your username on your listings, and your phone number and/or email address only if you chose to be contacted that way on the listing.
- Moderators see listings and reports to keep the site safe.
- Our host, Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus, European Union), stores the site, the database and the emails.
No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Account data: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your email, phone number and username are erased at once and your listings and photos are removed.
- Listings you delete or mark as sold: removed from the site immediately; their photos are deleted.
- Reports: until they are handled by a moderator, and at most as long as the listing exists.
- Technical server logs kept by our host: according to the host's own retention rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete and export your data, object to its use and restrict it.
- Correct your details at any time in My account.
- Delete your account and all your listings yourself with the "Delete my account" button in My account.
- For anything else (copy of your data, objection), write to support@kmermarketshopping.com. We answer within one month.
If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or to the authority of your country.
Minors
KmerMarket is reserved for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data about minors; if you learn that a minor has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is only served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, forms are protected against cross-site request forgery, and access to internal files is blocked.

KmerMarket only uses one cookie that is needed to keep you logged in. See the cookie policy.
